Frederick, Maryland – Frederick Innovative Technology Center, Inc. (FITCI) and Fort Detrick Alliance are excited to present a twist to our ever-popular Tech Showcase. The 11th Annual celebration of tech transfer collaboration will also feature our new partnership, with The Maryland Defense Technology Commercialization Center (DefTech).
DefTech welcomes the greater community to a reveal of five new technology innovations at this year’s event!
The event’s keynote speaker, Gary Evens, the executive director of DefTech, will focus on how the integration of technology will expand your business’s bottom line. Technology will be showcased for guests to explore, along with some of the best technology that is available for businesses to acquire, in addition to showcasing IP that is in the process of or has already been acquired.
DefTech is an initiative of the Maryland Department of Commerce, funded by the Department of Defense Office of Economic Adjustment and the US Department of Commerce Economic Development Administration through its Regional Innovation Strategies Program and includes twelve partner organizations across the state. Evans has more than three decades of experience in the commercialization of technology and entrepreneurship. His experience spans multiple industries and technical disciplines. He will discuss technology transfer opportunities in our region.
